The Cowadoody Factor Video games have always had a social stigma to them, and if you devote a lot of time to playing a video game, people automatically assume you have no life (while if you watch a lot of old French movies, you're "cultured") The stigma, however, has been rapidly declining in tact with the growth of the industry, with video games suddenly becoming a lot more common for everyone to play. This has also led to video games being unable to jump on whacky concepts anymore (as mentioned in my Peter Molyneux article) but that's a rant for another time. The Cowadoody Factor by ~TheRandomnessDude
Today, I feel like talking about what I like to call the "Cowadoody Factor", after the extremely popul

Gaming in 2011 2011 is looking to be an extremely good year for gaming, with a return of old franchises and start of new ones. The PS3 is finally getting some really nice titles, and it's good that the Mass Effect franchise has decided to port over (although it's a huge shame that Mass Effect 1 isn't being ported over. Seriously, people are missing out on half of the fun of ME2.) and there are a lot of multiplatform titles that I am definitely looking forward to.Gaming in 2011 by ~TheRandomnessDude

He rants and rants, with slobber coming out of his mouth and covering his disgusting neckbeard. The spit mingles with thick, dried crust from microwave soup, and as he talks, you can see dandruff come down from his ponytail (now barely a ponytail anymore, with the hairband hardly holding it together). The small ball of irritation that had been resting in your gut grew more and more, until your entire body was completely engulfed in one single feeling:
Rage.
'Hey, he's fat.' you think. 'He hardly has a chin ei

Peter Molyneux and Games So good ol' Peter Molyneux, known mostly for the Fable series, won a Lifetime Achievement award. The reason he's receiving the award? I'll quote Kotaku on it 'cause I'm lazy:Peter Molyneux and Games by ~TheRandomnessDude
"Peter is a remarkable asset to the games industry, and truly embodies everything that the Lifetime Achievement Award represents," said Meggan Scavio, event director of GDC. "We're proud to honor someone who has had such a profound impact on the industry, through his boundless enthusiasm and profound talent in creating games about choice and interactivity that the entire world loves to play."
